About Me
Christina Specos has been a guiding light in the strength and conditioning realm since 2002, with her journey in fitness tracing back even further to 1999. Her roots are deeply planted in Philadelphia, PA, and she has cherished memories of years spent in New Jersey. Christina’s professional path took a significant turn in 2011 when she embraced the role of a collegiate strength and conditioning coach at Purdue University. There, she had the privilege of working closely with women’s teams across a spectrum of sports, including basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf, and cheerleading. In June 2018, seeking new horizons and experiences, Christina made the vibrant choice to relocate to Miami Beach.
Within the fitness community, Christina is celebrated not only for her expertise but also for her role as a mentor, resource, and influencer. Her driving force is a heartfelt desire to uplift and enhance the lives of others, be they athletes, individuals from the general population, or her professional peers. Christina’s commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her pursuit of a wide array of certifications, enriching her expertise and crafting a diverse and distinctive background.
Her philosophy towards fitness and performance training is refreshingly holistic. Kris Belding, residing in the vibrant community of Miami Beach, Florida, brings a rich tapestry of expertise to her role as a movement instructor, holding certifications from Physical Mind Pilates, Gyrotonic, and Corrective High-Performance Exercise Kinesiology (C.H.E.K.). With 14 years of experience in teaching movement, Kris offers both group classes and private sessions at South Beach Pilates, where she integrates her profound knowledge and skills to guide her clients.
Her educational background in Psychology & Sociology, combined with her licensure as an LCSW, and her training in Theta Healing, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and hypnosis, form the cornerstone of Kris’s holistic approach to wellness. This unique blend of qualifications enables her to offer a distinctive training experience that nurtures both the body and mind, facilitating transformative change.
Kris’s commitment to her craft extends beyond local boundaries as she travels globally, teaching Pilates and NLP.
